I normally have a very quick turnaround on heads, but depending on the time of year, and what is going on ministry wise, depends on how fast I can get your trophy back to you! I always tell people that I enjoy my hobby, but I love my ministry; so I am a minister first and a taxidermist as the Lord allows! Have a blessed hunting season!

New 2012 Price List

This a revision from the post in October 2011: I was hoping to set my prices for the 2011-2012 season but due to the rising cost of materials, I had to make an adjustment! Happy hunting this season!

1) All heads are finished on a solid wood plaque. You can request your plaque in either oak or walnut, and then request it to have a dark or light finish. Deer will come on a 3-D plaque which includes a back shield, a scalloped or plain face plate, and hanger. (Note: there is a minor cost increase on the scalloped face plate, and the walnut wood).

2) You can request that your head be painted in bright white, antique white, or custom paint. (Note additional charges do apply for custom paint).

3) You can then request that your head be finished with a matte, satin, semi-gloss, or high gloss finish.

-Plaque Mounts: $75
-Deer on a 3-D plaque: $125
-Hog as a table top mount: $160
-Hog on a 3-D Plaque: $175
-Cow or Bull: $175
-Longhorn: $200 (There is much more labor/time required in removing the horns)
-Varmint: $65 (no plaque)

-For cutom painting add $50 to the price of any head. (bronzed, copper, pewter, any two tone design, or any other custom deisgn that you would like but do not see displayed). Additional cost is do to time and additional resources.

Pink and Black cow skull

This is a pink and black cow skull that I have recently done. One of my youth mentioned that it would be interesting if I could do a skull for breast cancer awareness, and this is my take on it. Comments would be appreciated.

Bronzed Hog with White Teeth

This is a custom bronzed hog head with white teeth done for a gentleman in Kansas. I think it turned out extremely well. I would love to hear your comments.

This is a Texas Flag bull head that a student of mine at the Church had requested. This was a head that he had acquired, but it had a large hole on the middle of the forehead, and the nasal bones were broke out. I was able to repair the hole, and the nasal bones, and then apply the custom paint job, with an antique stain top coat.

This is a bronzed steer skull that I did for Cherie Adams at our church! It was the first bronze I have done on a something larger than a deer or a hog. It turned out really well. It is a little more for custom painting on a head, but I believe it is well worth it.

I had the opportunity to work on a hog head for one of my youth, and friend, at the church this year, and it turned out really well. It was finished in an off white, with a gloss finish, on a walnut plaque. If something like this interests you, give me a call.

Opening Weekend of Bow Season

I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed opening weekend of bow season. I would love to hear each of your stories from this past weekend, whether success, failure, or close calls. The amazing thing about a story is that everyone has one and it is uniquely yours. It allows you to recall the success, learn from the failure, and to revel in the close calls. Let me hear YOUR story!
